Our story

More Than Wellness. A Place to Belong.

Come as you are.

Our mission

A safe, welcoming and judgment-free community.

Lotus is a safe, welcoming and judgment-free community where everyone has a place. Whether you're here to move your body, quiet your mind, heal, connect, or simply take a little time for yourself, you will be met with kindness, acceptance and support.

We believe wellness is about more than what happens on the mat. It's about caring for your Mind, Body & Spirit, supporting one another through life's different seasons, and creating a community where no one has to feel like they have to fit in before they belong.

Come as you are. Find your people. Find your balance. Bloom with us.

Meet Caryn

Yoga changed my life. I built a studio so it could change yours.

Lotus Yoga & Wellness Center was born from my own journey with yoga and healing.

I discovered yoga later in life, during a time when stress and emotional pain had taken over so much of my life that I barely recognized myself. I tried therapy, medication, self-help books, and anything else I thought might help, but nothing seemed to quiet the noise in my mind.

Then I found yoga.

What started as a class quickly became so much more. Yoga became my happy place, my solace, and my way of taking care of myself. It taught me to quiet the “monkey brain,” let go of what I could not control, slow down, and understand that I was doing the best I could. It reminded me that I was strong, capable, and worthy.

Just as importantly, I found a community that welcomed me with open arms and helped me begin to heal my mind, body, and spirit.

Yoga changed my life. Lotus is my way of sharing that gift with others, creating a place where people can feel supported, connected, and reminded that even in the hardest seasons, there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Why Lotus?

The lotus flower is a symbol of resilience, renewal, healing and transformation. Rooted beneath the surface in dark, muddy water, the lotus makes its way upward toward the light, eventually emerging to bloom beautifully above the water.

We chose the name Lotus Yoga & Wellness Center because we believe its journey reflects our own journey through life. We all experience challenges, change and seasons when finding our way forward may feel difficult. Yet, just like the lotus, we have the ability to rise, grow and bloom.

At Lotus, wellness isn't about perfection. It's about honoring where you are, nurturing your Mind, Body & Spirit, and giving yourself the space to heal, reconnect and grow.

The lotus reminds us that where we begin does not determine where we can bloom.

Rise.Heal.Grow.Bloom.
